The Demy is powered by the KeyIngredient.com website. To get started, sign up for a free account at Key IngredientOnce you have a Key Ingredient account, you can log in and begin adding recipes.

You can add recipes directly through the Add new recipe page on the Key Ingredient site by typing them in directly, or by copying and pasting the recipe's text into the Import recipe page from Notepad (on Windows) or TextEdit (on Macs).  You can also use our browser bookmarklet to import recipes you find on other web sites.

Once you have saved your recipes in your Key Ingredient account, you're ready to install the Key Ingredient Recipe Manager software that allows you to sync your Demy with your Key Ingredient account.  You can download the software here:  Windows software and Mac OS X software.  If you have any trouble installing the software, view an install guide.

After the Key Ingredient Recipe Manager software is installed on your computer, power ON your Demy. Once your Demy loads the Cookbooks screen, connect it to your computer with the USB cable.  Next, launch the Key Ingredient software and log in using the email address (not your user name) and password for your Key Ingredient account.  Finally, press the "Sync" button to begin downloading your recipes from Key Ingredient to your Demy.

Please email help@keyingredient.com if you'd like a photo tutorial to help further explain how to add recipes and create cookbooks on Key Ingredient.
