How long does my Recipe Reader's battery last when fully charged?

Your Recipe Reader's battery lasts for 2.5 to 12 hours, depending on usage. If your battery is not lasting for at least 2.5 hours, it's possible that your Recipe Reader wasn't turned off properly in the past.

On its back side of the Recipe Reader, there is a label with a picture of an orange pot on it. This label will have a combination of 2 letters on it, either UL or CE. Depending on your model, please follow the instructions accordingly to power off the Recipe Reader.

UL: To ensure your Recipe Reader is completely turned off, press and hold down the gray power button for 3 seconds or until it beeps. Please note, a black screen doesn't necessarily mean your Recipe Reader is turned off. The UL model has a Sleep Mode feature to conserve battery life. When the Demy is left on, the Sleep Mode drains the battery over time. To get the most out of your battery life, please make sure your Recipe Reader is turned off completely when not in use.

CE: To power off your Recipe Reader, click the gray power button. This model will not beep.
